SNAP TEST ADMIT CARD

SNAP Test Admit Card should be printed from the SNAP website [ snaptest.org] which will be available from, Saturday, Saturday 05, 2015, till Sunday, December 20, 2015.

SNAP TEST ADMIT CARD

Ensure the following

  1. Print the SNAP Test Admit Card online. Candidates shall preserve the authenticated Admit card till the Admission processes of the desired Symbiosis Institutes are over. If the Admit card is lost, no duplicate Admit card will be issued
  2. Please ensure that your latest passport size, coloured photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for.
  3. Bring the SNAP Test Admit card to the Test Centre in addition to a photo-identity card. An acceptable photo identity card is any one of
  • Passport.
  • Driving license.
  • College/ Institute Identity Card.
  • Credit card with photograph.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)

At the time of the written test, it is mandatory to produce the photo identity card as described here. Symbiosis Authorized Person will verify and authenticate your SNAP Admit card against the photo-id.

Please preserve this Authenticated Admit card for further selection processes by individual Institutes.

Symbiosis National Aptitude(SNAP) Test is the Entrance Exam conducted by Symbiosis International University for MBA. Candidates aspiring to join MBA programs offered by institutes of Symbiosis International University have to take the common, mandatory SNAP Test. A candidate used to register for SNAP Test & then register with the institutes offering his/ her choice of program by paying separate institution registration fees.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SNAP 2015

Graduate from any recognized / statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Programmes which require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute.

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

RESERVATION POLICY FOR SNAP 2015

As per the UGC Regulations/ Guidelines, following will be the reservation policy for admission to any programme of Institutes of SIU

  • Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
  • Differently Abled*: 3%

NMAT scaled scores by section and test total scaled score will be displayed on NMAT website within 4 to 5 weeks after the test. The percentile scores has been announced as per the scheduled date.

Scaled scores – All the test papers are equated to account for small differences in overall difficulty and the raw test scores are placed onto a common scale. This is done to ensure scores are comparable across test papers such that the scores are not impacted by different test takers getting different test papers.

Percentile scores – The percentile rank or score shows how a test taker scored when compared to all other test takers who appeared for the test (e.g. all test takers who appeared for the NMAT in same testing year). For example, if a test taker is said to be at the 75th percentile, the test taker scored better than 75% of the test takers who appeared for the NMAT

  • No separate call letter will be mailed
  • Candidate has to login for downloading their Call letter.
  • The final merit list will be prepared in terms of academic marks,work experience, marks obtained in NMAT Exam, GD/PI.
  • The selection criteria will be based on merit only. The cut off for deciding the merit shall be with NMIMS. The candidate who have applied for more than one programme/ Campus, in their application forms, their selection will be based on the merit score obtained by them as well as on the availability of the seats in the respective programme. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS will be final and undisputable and shall be binding on all concerned.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NMAT 2015-2016

Eligibility Criteria for NMAT 2015-2016 varies for each University who were taking admission through NMAT 2015-2016. Candidates who are interested and wants to register themselves can check eligibility clearly for each University and school before registering for NMAT 2015-2016.

For reference eligibility criteria of NMIMS is given below:


  • For all the full time programs, candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree with 50 % aggregate marks and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
  • For all the Full Time programs, candidates having two and more years of postqualification work experience will be preferred.
  • The candidate must have appeared for all his subject(s) / exams before the commencement of the respective program (s) of NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University). The examination of none of the subjects should be held after the commencement of the respective course. Also the candidate should be declared pass in all the above referred subjects (s) / examinations by the University from where he / she is graduating from, with minimum passing requirements (minimum 50% marks in the aggregate).
  • At the time of admission, candidate has to produce semester-wise / trimester-wise / consolidated (only if individual mark sheets are not issued by University / Institute) mark sheets of all years of the college from which he/she is graduated. In case of internet copies of mark sheets, attestation by Principal with official seal is mandatory.
  • The candidates, who have passed or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained in writing from the University concerned.
  • It is sole responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS, as verification of the documents is done at the time of final admission.
  • NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.

EXAM PATTERN FOR NMAT 2015-2016

The NMAT 2015-2016 exam is computer-delivered and gives each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one-at-a-time. The number of questions, difficulty levels, and the time limit for each of the sections is predetermined and, under normal administration conditions, are the same regardless of when and where the test is administered. Candidates have a choice of selecting the order/sequence of the test sections.

The NMAT 2015-2016 exam has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NAMT 2015-2016

The test taker of NMAT needs to bring the following to the test centre on the day of the test, without which the test taker will not be allowed to take the test:

  • Confirmation e-mail printout
  • Admit Card: Test takers can download their Admit Card from the registration site after authentication of their payment
  • Photocopy of the test taker’s Primary ID for submission at the Test centre.
  • Any other document as advised by GMGC for differently abled candidates.
  • Copy of Xth class certificate in case there is mismatch in the name between Xth class certificate and Test taker ID
  • One valid primary ID and another secondary ID
    • List of primary IDs (must contain the test taker’s name, photo and signature)

TEST CENTRE CHANGE FOR NMAT

Test takers can request a test centre change by visiting the Pearson VUE site: http://www.pearsonvue.com/nmatbygmac/. There will be an additional fee payable by credit card only. After the test taker receives the confirmation e-mail from Pearson VUE, she or he will be able to select a new test center

RESCHEDULING FOR NMAT

  1. A test taker will be allowed to reschedule the test no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled test to a different date, time and/or test centre, subject to availability, by paying the applicable fee.
  2. Seat availability in terms of test centre, slot and date will be on a “First come, First serve” basis.
  3. A test taker cannot reschedule a test if 72 hours or less remain before the scheduled test. Refer section on Test Fee Forfeit.
  4. Test takers will be able to exercise the rescheduling option between Jul 03, 2015 and Dec 16, 2015

MAT 2015

Management Aptitude Test 2015 is a standardised test being conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. MAT 2015 is conducted four times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. Interested aspirants can apply for MAT 2015.

MAT 2015 REGISTRATION FORM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

All Forms received at AIMA are scanned / validated within 5 days and the Form Numbers of such received forms will be available on website link: http://apps.aima.in/mat_reciept.aspx.  Further, your form is scrutinized and if found in order; it is provisionally registered.
MAT 2015 Registration Form received later than the due date is liable to be rejected. Neither any correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor will the fee to be refunded.

MAT 2015 SELECTION PROCEDURE

The candidates will be shortlisted by the MAT 2015 participating B-schools on the basis of their scores depending upon the cutoff. The candidates will have to appear for the Group Discussion, Personal Interview and or Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds.

There are five blocks consisting of four boxes each given in the Form. MAT 2015 EXAM PATTERN

  • Test Centre City list is provided in the Bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different.
  •  The Paper-Based Test for MAT 2015 will take place only on one day i.e., 06 September 2015 at one time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place from  12 September 2015  in different time slots.
  • If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and it can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 12 September 2015 itself.
  • If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based MAT 2015 Test is few in a particular centre, these candidates have to appear for the Paper-Based Test on 06 September 2015.
